This Orange Shirt Day, we were proud to wear orange to show support and honour the victims, survivors and families impacted by residential schools in Canada. Blaneys has a long-standing commitment to Indigenous Peoples and is committed to the ongoing process of reconciliation.
To show our support this year, we made a donation to Anishnawbe Health Toronto in support of their mission to improve, support and promote the health, well-being and healing of Aboriginal people. We also participated in the Tim Hortons Orange Sprinkle Donut campaign where proceeds are used to support Indigenous charities across Canada.
