Pink Shirt Day

There was a sea of pink across the Blaneys office as our staff took part in Pink Shirt Day to stand up against bullying. Blaneys is committed to promoting equity and diversity and fostering a culture of inclusion. We proudly support this important initiative and we thank everyone at Blaneys for their enthusiastic participation in Pink Shirt Day.

Pink Shirt Day began in 2007 when a student in Nova Scotia was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school. To support him, his fellow students took a stand and came to school the next day all wearing pink shirts. It has since been recognized annually as a day to stand against bullying.
