Scholarships for Toronto Students
In 2001, Blaney McMurtry and Scadding Court Community Centre (SCCC) were founding partners of the Investing in our Diversity Scholarship Program, known today as the Toronto Community Housing Investing in Our Diversity (IIOD) Scholarship program.
Inspired by our Partner, the late Bill McMurtry, the program was founded to recognize and reward young people fighting for equity and against racism. Throughout the years, the scholarships have rewarded students throughout Toronto who have shown leadership in diversity and anti-racism initiatives and demonstrate financial need.
Blaney McMurtry is very proud to continue to provide two scholarships each year through this program - the William R. McMurtry Memorial Anti-Racism Scholarship and the Blaney McMurtry Diversity Scholarship.
