Arthur advises and litigates on behalf of commercial landlords and tenants in all matters arising out of leasing contracts including the interpretation and enforceability of leases, termination and repudiation of leases, maintenance and repair obligations, operating cost/realty tax disputes, distress procedures, and environmental issues.
Arthur regularly appears before the Commercial List in Toronto and has appeared before many levels of judicial and administrative decision-makers in Ontario, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal.
