Brendan is a partner in the Commercial Litigation Department.
Brendan litigates commercial disputes and insured claims. He represents clients across a range of industries, including institutional real property owners and managers, major retail businesses, government bodies, public utilities and professionals.
Brendan’s commercial practice includes litigating contract disputes, commercial leasing, mortgages, and other general litigation matters.
Brendan also has considerable experience defending clients in a variety of insured claims, including professional negligence, product liability, police and government liability, occupiers’ liability, personal injury and property damage matters.
Brendan’s clients rely on him to solve complex legal problems. He helps clients realize their objectives by developing practical litigation strategies and delivering timely, cost effective results, either through negotiating resolutions or litigating in the courtroom.
Brendan has experience acting as lead counsel at trial and representing his clients in all levels of court in Ontario.
In law school, at the University of Western Ontario, Brendan won the award for earning the top grade in his Contracts class. He also studied abroad at the National University of Singapore.
