 Overview

In today’s fast-paced real estate environment, transactions are increasingly being completed within shorter time frames and clients are expecting increased value for service.  Jeffrey responds to these needs by providing prompt, efficient, and responsive communication and counsel while maintaining keen attention to detail and a sharp focus on his client’s needs and business objectives.

Jeffrey’s commercial real estate practice includes the acquisition, divesture and financing of multi-unit residential apartment buildings, commercial retail, offices and industrial buildings; the leasing of commercial retail, office and industrial premises; and the drafting and negotiation of complex development and reciprocal operating and easement agreements. Having acted for both purchasers and vendors as well as lenders, borrowers, landlords, and tenants for several years, Jeffrey understands the needs and objectives of both his client and the counterparty to a transaction. This insight enables him to provide pragmatic advice and business solutions that move a transaction forward while at the same time protecting his clients’ interests.

In addition to his commercial real estate practice, Jeffrey provides assistance to the firm’s commercial litigation department in connection with disputes between landlords and tenants and lease and mortgage enforcement matters.  This experience has given him an awareness of the practical issues that arise when things go wrong, and an insight in how to draft agreements from the outset to protect the interests of his clients in the event that unfortunate circumstances arise.
