 Overview

Josh’s practice is focused in the areas of Estates, Trusts and Guardianship Law. He is primarily retained on complex litigation matters involving the validity and interpretation of wills, removal of trustees and attorneys for property and personal care, passing of accounts, resulting and constructive trusts, dependant relief and professional negligence. 

Josh regularly appears before the Superior Court of Justice. While Josh is a zealous advocate for his clients, he understands the importance of alternative dispute resolution, which can provide a timely and cost-effective resolution to a matter. Josh also prides himself on being able to negotiate creative and pragmatic solutions.

Josh further assists clients with succession planning and the administration of estates, and works alongside corporate and tax lawyers at the firm to ensure that all issues are considered, including the minimization of income taxes.  

Josh has been designated as a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), which is an internationally recognized hallmark of professional expertise in the areas of Estates and Trusts Law. His specialized skill-set enables him to provide clients with efficient and reliable service. 

Josh understands the trying nature of Estates and Trusts matters, and strives to guide clients through the legal process with tact and compassion. His approach to the practice of law has earned him praise from both clients and peers.
