 Overview

Leo is a passionate litigator who is developing a broad litigation practice with a primary focus on insurance defence matters. He takes pride in critically analyzing each aspect of a case to achieve timely and cost-efficient solutions for his clients. He has represented clients at the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Small Claims Court.

Leo has in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, earned in part as an associate at an insurance defence boutique law firm, where he practiced in the areas of general negligence, commercial liability, occupier’s liability, product liability, privacy torts, and personal injury law. He also gained experience working on complex construction deficiency claims, public infrastructure projects, and class actions.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Leo worked for the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) where he developed a unique understanding of claims procedures as well as policies of various insurers and re-insurers.

Leo currently serves as a Board of Director at the Caledon Parent-Child Centre, a not-for-profit organization that provides free early-years and family support programs in Caledon and the surrounding area.
