Bob’s estate planning practice includes the preparation of wills, powers of attorney and other complementary documents. He also advises clients on charitable giving, estate administration, family business succession planning and family trusts.
Being of service to his clients and his community is at the heart of Bob’s core values. Widely recognized for his charitable service to the Toronto community, Bob has acted as Chair of the City of Toronto United Jewish Appeal Federation of Greater Toronto, Lawyers' Division; Vice-Chair of its Major Gifts Division; Chair of the Pledge Redemption Committee; and has sat on the Baycrest Hospital Foundation Audit and Finance Committee. He has been actively involved with United Way, Israel Bonds, and the Professional Development Committee of the Jewish Foundation. Bob sits on the board of the Jewish National Fund, and is a past president of his Synagogue. Bob and his wife Marilyn were the 2002 honorees of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism for their contributions to Conservative Judaism.
Outside of his legal and charitable activities, Bob is a gifted stone sculptor and has exhibited in several shows; he is also an avid gardener and golfer. Bob is married to Marilyn, has two married daughters and five grandchildren.
