Stephen Gaudreau is a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation Group. Stephen provides counsel for shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, contract disputes, construction law, injunctions, and enforcement of judgments. His clients range from multi-national corporations to family owned businesses, and he has worked on complex claims ranging from high-stakes mining cases to oppression remedy cases.
Ryan Kniznik is a member of the firm's Family Law Group. Ryan's practice is exclusively in the area of family law, including complex matters such as child and spousal support, property ownership and division issues, as well as parenting matters. He has appeared in all levels of Court in Ontario, including several matters before the Court of Appeal, and has acted as counsel in many reported decisions.
Hasan Naqvi is a member of the firm's Corporate & Commercial Group. He advises clients on business structures, tax efficient corporate re-organizations, regulatory and compliance matters, secured financing transactions, as well as purchase and sale transactions. He has acted for purchasers and vendors in various M&A deals and represented clients in the acquisition and financing of solar projects in Ontario. He has also represented start-ups and emerging growth companies in the private equity and venture capital sector. Hasan has successfully assisted in tax deferred rollovers as well as estate freezes for several owner-managers.
