Congratulations to Margaret Rintoul, selected by the Ontario Bar Association as the recipient of its 2018 Award of Excellence in Trusts and Estates Law. Margaret was presented with the award at a Gala on the evening of June 4th at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto.
The Award for Excellence in Trusts and Estates was created to recognize exceptional contributions and/or achievements by members of the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) to the area of wills, trusts and estates. With over 35 years of experience in estate planning, litigation and administration, and adult guardianship and power of attorney matters, Margaret draws on a wealth of technical knowledge and practical experience. She is the author of several leading texts in the area of wills and estates ('Ontario Estate Administration'; 'Practitioners Guide to Estate Practice, 6th Edition'; and 'Canadian Forms & Precedents - Wills and Estates'; all by LexisNexis Canada), and is recognized globally as a leading practitioner in private wealth law (Chambers & Partners Global High Net Worth Guide, 2018).
