The Toronto Chapter of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society will be hosting a luncheon workshop on social engineering fraud at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto on June 7, 2017. Blaneys’ Chris McKibbin, Joshua Laycock (National Fidelity Product Manager, The Guarantee Company of North America) and Greg Markell (President & CEO, Ridge Canada) will be presenting on how crime, cyber and other coverages may (or may not) respond to social engineering fraud losses. The presentations will also explore what steps insureds and underwriters can take to mitigate risk before a loss occurs, including some best practices insureds can adopt to avoid being victims.
