 Overview

Michelle’s broad civil litigation practice focuses on defending claims of sexual assault and professional negligence for a variety of public authorities and private corporations. She has extensive experience representing child welfare, recreational, religious, and educational organizations in sexual assault and abuse claims. A significant portion of her practice is also devoted to defending police, government, and municipal entities in various civil liability claims, including professional negligence, personal injury, malicious prosecution and negligent investigation.

Michelle has represented clients at various courts including the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice and the Small Claims Court. She is a passionate advocate who strives to obtain the best and most cost-effective results for her clients.
